Good-bye 2025, Hello 2026!

WOW what a year! Missy & I kicked off 2025 with World of Oddities, which was an amazing way to kick off the year. We both stepped outside our comfort zones. Missy launching her business and debuting at WOE (if I'm wrong, she will correct me ha-ha) So very proud of her. Talking strictly on my personal business side, the loss of Joann Fabric's hit hard. I know I wasn't only one affected. It did directly affect how I do my book liners. Thankfully I bought enough fabric for a few years' worth HAHAHAH. HAHAHA , seriously I have a lot. I have found a few good alternatives. Sadly, not a local branch, but happen with the options thus far. If the stars align for us, we will be back again for 2026!

The book box line has expanded by VOLUMES! (See what I did there? LOL) More Edgar Allan Poe stores, classic horror, Like Frankenstein, The Picture of Dorain Gray, to name a few. This will not be slowing down for 2026. Please check often. I will do my very best to add new items more often than once a year. Thank you for supporting my vision of the classics in my art.

The cutting boards and coasters took an unexpected interest by so many of you. THANK YOU! I tried new things with them to for the holidays, many of you loved my ideas. I'm over the moon that you love my useable art and my price points. I will continue to keep that in forefront for all of you.

Scenery Hill hosted us for National Pike days in May and for the Holiday Marketplace in November. Pike days was brand new for us. Things we will both change for next year. As always the Holiday Marketplace was a cold weekend of fun! We will be more prepared for both for 2026! Just a fun filled family (and pet) friendly weekends. I will say when the weather turned overnight, the hosts made sure my items were secure. That wasn't one them. We are very thankful! One of many reasons why we will be back.

I can't forget to mention two awesome events that happened at the Monroeville Convention Center. The Magickal Minds Metaphyical Fair in March. And the Mystic Market Parchment & Potions in September. Both hosts thought of everything and them some that vendors would need. Probably OVERDID it where their profit margins filled in. Hoping to see the one return in the future. The other Missy & I will be apart of in April. Met many new friends at both. I can't say enough about the good positive energy both had for vendors and guests. I can't imagine not doing these events forever.

The Moon Wizarding event was a repeat for me and brand new for Missy. We had a blast! Tried many new things this year. Most worked. I would like to see the hosts have it for all day instead of partial day like it was in 2024. However, will still return! Just good family nerdy fun!

A few events which I will not mention we will not be doing again. Some, just wasn't our demo graph, but ya don't know until you cast the net. Other's need better planning, I may reach other with my ideas/feedback. (Maybe not as I've been told not everyone likes to hear my free advice HAHAHA.) While one needs to get into a different field of work (my vendors friends know whom I speak) And one I think I need to play around more with finding the right fit with my goods for the area.

Missy & I took more leaps and vended in a few new places. Some of you saw us at the Steelgoat Marketplace. I will say the owners are sweet, friendly people. Unfortunately, our items were not the clientele's cups of tea. Don't' let that stop you from going there. There are many, many local artists and small businesses there that need your support and will have something you want/need. When that door closed, the Midnight Dreary door opened very wide. That is where our people shop. Local to me the Familiar Creations Bakery and Snowy's Chocolates became a new outlet. I can't thank the owners of both enough for allow me to explore and find more of my client base. I didn't say "we" as Missy's goods haven't been there yet but will though out 2026.

The many awesome adventures at Time & Space Events at Monroeville Mall. From Halfway to Halloween, Christmas in July, Living Dead Weekend, where I have met many new friends, Malloween, Return of the Living Dead Weekend, Krampus and the Christmas Past Holiday Marketplace. I can't say enough of how hard Kevin and his staff works to make this events work. The lack of sleep they all endure for these events. I don't think I can express my gratitude enough. Also the following of YOU to find me & Missy here and continuing to support us and our latest new thing we debut puts us in awe. We leave each event wagging our tails in happiness. :D A personal shout out to Kevin for trusting me with his baby and letting me into that circle at the Christmas Past Marketplace. That was a big deal for me on personal levels. Also allowing me to test a few things out there. Ending there year with that fun time helped make a difference in the year end bottom-line. Also giving the opportunity to many local venders to sell for the end of season. I hope you know you made a difference to many. Now people, don't ask me how things are going to go this year at the mall. Just know Living Dead Weekend 2026 happens in June at the mall. The mall is NOT dead yet. There are many shops & stores still there. More importantly, the Living Dead Museum is rocking & rolling. If you haven't been... TIK TOK! If you have, go again... TIK TOK, the time is almost UP!

Personally, speaking here. Some of you asked if I personally had spread myself too thin, especially this fall. in the moment I didn't think so. Hindsight, yeah maybe a little. LOL . I want to say...All that I vended with THANK YOU for being awesome! All my friends, THANK YOU for putting up with my au-adhd self! HAHAHAH I can't end this without mentioned 2 very important people. My husband who continues to put up with me event when he doesn't understand what the hell I'm doing. Missy, my partner in all of this. I could never do this without either of you two. Love you both for very different reasons. Lastly, of course all my followers and clients ... THANK YOU! You are why we had a successful year! Here is to 2026 ! Many Blessings & Blessed BE!
