WHO AM I
My grandfather "taught" me how to wood burn when I was 7. By "taught" I mean he gave the pyrography pen and told me not to burn his house down . If you have seen me at one of my events, I tell this story in much more detail . Let's just say, I am have seen a few sunsets since then. I had put it down for some time , ya know raising a family and such. After my brother passed away suddenly a few years back, it became part of my healing in my grief.
I used to do all by hand of the wood by hand. Yes,My house smells like a campfire most days of the year. Every part of the burn/engrave. Hubby decided to surprise me with a laser engraver. Many I still only by hand. Some are laser only. Much is a mix of both. I love added new elements to my craft. (SURPRISE, new toy arrives in March 2026.) I am thrilled that many other people enjoy my work. I promise to do better on uploading new pieces, not just my blog HAHAHA. ( we will see how well I keep that promose LOL)
